BinMaster BM-TSM is a tilt switch for high-level detection of powders and bulk solids in bins, tanks, and silos. Its sensitive paddle design responds to lighter materials than heavy-duty tilt switches, making it a practical and cost-effective point-level solution for flour, plastic pellets, and similar fine or granular materials.
The BM-TSM is a patented, mercury-free tilt switch used for high level detection of powders and bulk solids contained in bins, tanks, or silos. It features C/US Class II, Division I Groups E, F and G and ATEX Zone 21 hazardous location approvals. It mounts on top of the vessel and is outfitted with a custom-made shaft in lengths from one foot up to eight feet in length, dependent upon the distance from the top of the bin an alert should be activated. The BM-TSM is available with either a paddle or sphere mounted at the end of the shaft and can be used in materials with a bulk density of at least 15 pounds per cubic foot.
