Sugar Refractometer with Automatic Temperature Compensation.
The MR18ATC occupies a useful middle ground in the optical refractometer range: wider than the MR10ATC (0–10%), it extends to 18% Brix while maintaining the same high 0.1% resolution and ±0.1% accuracy. This makes it well-suited to a range of dilute-to-moderate applications including fresh fruit juice, soft drink syrup control, low-sugar fermentation monitoring, kombucha, beer wort at early stages, and other beverages or food products where sugar content sits in the lower portion of the scale.
Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) eliminates the need for manual correction tables. No batteries required — place a drop of sample on the prism, close the daylight plate, and read the clearly defined Brix scale through the eyepiece in seconds.
