Lascar Electronics is a UK manufacturer of data logging and panel instrumentation, and EasyLog is its best-known product line. Pacific Sensor Tech stocks the complete EasyLog EL-USB range in Australia — eight standalone USB data loggers covering temperature, temperature with relative humidity, and thermocouple input.
Every EL-USB logger works the same way. You set it up on a PC, deploy it, then plug it back into a USB port to download the readings. There is no gateway to install, no network to join, no account to create and no ongoing subscription. That self-contained design is why these loggers are still a default choice for cold-chain checks, building and HVAC surveys, equipment validation, transit monitoring and laboratory records.
We hold Lascar EasyLog stock locally and ship across Australia and New Zealand.

EasyLog USB software is free from our website — there is no licence key and no charge. Download it before you connect your logger for the first time, so the driver is in place when Windows detects the device. If you have bought your logger from Pacific Sensor Tech and the software will not detect it, contact us and we will help you sort it out.
It is completely free, with no per-device fee and no subscription. EasyLog USB software runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 only — there is no macOS version. You use it to set the logging rate, name the device, set high and low alarm thresholds, and then download, graph, print and export your readings.
No. The EL-USB range is designed for manual download: you plug the logger into a USB port and pull the readings off with the EasyLog USB software. EasyLog Cloud works with Lascar's Wi-Fi-connected hardware, not the USB range. If you need live readings, automatic uploads or remote alerts rather than a periodic download, contact us and we will point you at suitable connected options.
Both log temperature and relative humidity over the same −35 to +80 °C and 0–100 %RH ranges, and both calculate dew point in software. The EL-USB-2+ is the high-accuracy version: it is tighter on both temperature and humidity, and it holds its stated humidity accuracy across a wider band, so it stays dependable in genuinely dry or genuinely damp conditions rather than just ordinary room air. Choose the "+" model when the readings back a compliance record or a validation report. Exact tolerances are on each product page.
Only if you want to read values at the logger. LCD models show the current reading plus the stored highs and lows, which is useful when you are walking a site and want a quick check without a laptop. Non-display models cost less and generally run longer on a battery — every logger in the range stores its readings either way, so a display changes how you check the data, not what gets recorded.
The EL-USB-TC or, if you want to read values at the logger, the EL-USB-TC-LCD. Both accept interchangeable J, K and T type thermocouples and store 32,510 readings, with logging rates from 1 second to 12 hours. Each is supplied with a 1.5 m K-type probe that covers 0 to +200 °C out of the box. Fit a different probe and the logger itself reads much wider ranges — K type to +1,350 °C, J type to +1,190 °C and T type to +390 °C. Quoted accuracy excludes the thermocouple's own error, which is usually the larger part of total uncertainty, so choose the probe with care.
Yes. We hold Lascar EasyLog stock in Australia and ship across Australia and New Zealand. We provide model-selection advice, EasyLog software setup and troubleshooting, calibration services, and warranty support handled locally — so there are no offshore shipping delays and no time-zone gap when something needs attention.
