Built-in models measure at the sensor body itself — the simplest install for ambient/room monitoring. Remote-probe models connect to an external Pt1000 or T+RH probe on a cable, letting the electronics sit outside the measured environment — the right choice for ducts, compressed air, ovens or any space too harsh or inaccessible for the sensor body itself.
A sensor (RTD, thermocouple or similar) detects temperature; a transmitter converts that raw signal into a stable, standardised output — 4-20mA, 0-10V or a digital protocol — that can travel long distances to a PLC, BMS or SCADA system without signal loss.
