COMET's range can push readings to the cloud continuously and send an instant SMS text alert if a reading exceeds a set limit, without needing an on-site gateway or internet connection.
COMET's current range uses 4G/LTE cellular modems. This matters in Australia: 3G networks have already been fully retired, and 2G/GSM networks are being progressively shut down by Australian carriers — a genuine 4G modem is the future-proof choice.
A GSM/4G logger works anywhere with mobile coverage, independent of any on-site network — ideal for remote or outdoor sites, cold rooms without WiFi, or vehicles.
