Our multi-channel data loggers record from 2 to 16 inputs simultaneously on a single instrument — ideal where several thermocouples, RTDs, DC voltage, DC current or pulse points need to be captured together rather than with separate single-channel loggers. The range spans MadgeTech’s X-Series (VoltX, CurrentX, TCTempX, TCTempXLCD, RTDTempX — 4, 8, 12 or 16 channels) and COMET’s U-series mixed-input loggers and M-series networked multiloggers.
Temperature — thermocouple (TCTempX/TCTempXLCD, with on-unit LCD) or RTD (RTDTempX) inputs up to 16 channels, or COMET’s 2/4-probe Pt1000 units (U0121, U0141T, U0246); DC Voltage — VoltX (4-16 channels) or COMET U5841; DC Current — CurrentX (4-16 channels) or COMET U6841; Pulse/flow — COMET U7844; mixed voltage + temperature — the COMET U0541 (2× 0-10V + 2× Pt1000).
Most of the COMET U-series is available as a standalone logger (collect data on-site) or as a 4G/IoT twin with a built-in modem for remote sites with no local network — for example U0141T (standalone) and U0141G (4G), or U5841 and U5841G.
Need on-site readout? The TCTempXLCD adds a display to the thermocouple range, and the Titan S8 pairs 8 channels with a 5² touchscreen for standalone data acquisition.
Monitoring an oven or furnace to 350°C? The ThermoVaultX is a thermally insulated 4/8-channel thermocouple logger built for that environment.
Monitoring a vehicle or diesel engine over its CAN bus? The Titan S8-CAN connects directly to the diagnostic port.

A multi-channel data logger records from more than one input at the same time on a single instrument — for example four, eight, twelve or sixteen thermocouples, RTDs, or DC voltage/current points — instead of needing a separate single-channel logger for each measurement point.
It depends on how many points you need to monitor simultaneously. A 4-channel logger (TCTempX, VoltX, CurrentX, U0141T) suits a small test rig or a handful of sensors; 8, 12 and 16-channel versions of the same X-Series units scale up for larger installations, ovens or multi-zone monitoring without changing product family.
The COMET U0541 combines 2 voltage inputs with 2 Pt1000 temperature probes in a single 4-channel unit, and the M-series M1300 combines current, voltage and pulse inputs. MadgeTech's X-Series loggers (VoltX, CurrentX, TCTempX, RTDTempX) are single-parameter families — choose the matching model per parameter, or a COMET mixed-input or networked multi-channel unit for combined monitoring.
A standalone logger (the X-Series, Titan S8, ThermoVaultX, or COMET's U-series) records internally and is downloaded on-site or via its display. A monitoring system (COMET's M-series Ethernet Multiloggers and MS6 Monitoring System range) stays connected to your network continuously and can alert in real time — see our Ethernet, PoE and WiFi sensor pages if you need networked rather than standalone monitoring.
