Our PST and MadgeTech AVS140 validation kits are complete thermal validation systems for autoclaves, sterilizers and washer disinfectors — everything you need to prove cycle performance for medical and pharmaceutical compliance. Each kit pairs HiTemp140 or AVS140 validation data loggers with a USB interface and software, so you get a full record of every autoclave validation run.
The MadgeTech ULT90 is a purpose-built temperature validation system for ultra-low temperature freezers, down to -86°C. It’s the same freezer and fridge validation logger used across biobanks, hospitals and cold-chain storage for IQ OQ PQ qualification and ongoing validation data logging.
For GDP-compliant storage areas, the PST Warehouse Temperature & Humidity Mapping Kit provides a 16-point temperature mapping kit for warehouses, cool rooms and storage areas — everything required to run a compliant temperature mapping study and document thermal mapping results against your qualification protocol.
Need help choosing the right validation kit for your application? Call 1300 662 720 or contact our team — we can size a kit to your chamber, room or storage area.
An autoclave validation kit measures temperature at multiple points inside a sterilizer or washer disinfector during a single cycle, to prove the cycle reaches and holds the required temperature. A temperature mapping kit is used over a longer period (typically 24 hours to two weeks) to study temperature distribution across a larger space, such as a warehouse, cool room or storage area.
A temperature mapping study documents and controls the temperature distribution within a storage area, identifying hot and cold spots so remedial action — such as repositioning stock or adjusting HVAC — can be taken before the space is used for temperature-sensitive product storage.
IQ OQ PQ stands for Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification and Performance Qualification — the three-stage process used to validate that equipment (autoclaves, freezers, storage areas) is installed correctly, operates as specified, and consistently performs under real-world conditions.
It depends on the chamber or area size. Autoclave and washer validation kits typically use 2–14 loggers depending on chamber size, per AS/NZS/ISO guidance for load configuration. Warehouse and cool room mapping studies typically use a minimum of one logger per corner plus one per 10–20m³, with additional loggers near doors, HVAC vents and known problem areas.
