The MR110ATC is the low-range specialist of the optical salinity refractometer series. Its focused 0–10% salinity scale delivers 0.1% resolution and ±0.1% accuracy — ten times finer than the broad-range MR100ATC — making it the right choice whenever precise discrimination in dilute or brackish water matters more than wide-range coverage. Typical applications include freshwater fish hatcheries monitoring early salinity exposure, estuarine water quality sampling, brackish aquaculture systems, and industrial process water where low-level salt concentration must be tracked accurately. Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) corrects for ambient variation without manual tables, and no batteries are needed — calibrate with distilled water, place a drop on the prism, and read through the eyepiece.
