The Ecowitt Wittboy Pro (IC2564) weather station includes the HP2560 TFT display console and the WS90 7-in-1 outdoor sensor. The integrated outdoor sensor accurately measures temperature, humidity, wind direction and speed, light intensity, UV levels, and rainfall, transmitting all data directly to the HP2560 console. After configuring Wi-Fi, live weather data can be viewed on the console, the WS View Plus app, or the Ecowitt app.
Unlike traditional tipping-bucket rain gauges, the WS90 features a haptic rainfall sensor located on the top of the unit, providing highly detailed and precise rainfall measurements. It offers reliable rain detection and rain-stop interpretation, and because it uses no moving parts or vibrations, it maintains accuracy even under harsh weather conditions.
The sensor is built to IPX5 waterproof standards and uses thermal-insulation materials for durability. It includes a built-in solar panel with backup batteries and supports long-range wireless transmission—up to 150 m (500 ft) with obstacles and up to 300 m (1,000 ft) in open areas. Included bird spikes help prevent interference from birds, ensuring uninterrupted data collection.
